    SPA(UK) HQ SPORTS DAY

Our annual HQ Sports Day took place on Saturday 11 September 2010 at University of Warwick, Coventry CV4 7AL. It was an enjoyable day, except for the rainy weather. Those who came had fun. It was great that we saw a birth of a new junior football team for Tameside. Hopefully all the new junior players will continue their participation in the future. They also played extremely well and all Tameside members who attended were great and really well-behaved (as per usual). There was a vibe of good team spirit and this was showed and felt on the journey there and back by everyone.

The coach left on time at 5.30am. Returned approximately 8.30pm. The 53 seater coach was filled by 44 people. Tameside Branch participants total 53 (35 seniors and 18 Juniors). We provided a carton drink and a kitkat chocolate for everyone who travelled on the coach as a well done and token of good gesture.

We are delighted for our team:
Winners of mens badminton doubles - Kiran and Dipesh Mistry
Winners of Pool Seniors - Shashikantbhai Mistry
Runners-up of Ladies Badminton Doubles - Deena and Kreena Mistry
     Darts Singles - Ramanbhai Mistry
     Swimming medal - Paras

The Neelaben, our Branch Secretary would like to thank and say well done to everyone who took part. Thank you to Punam for helping out as well, on and before the day.
